If your using ID1000's and it idles noticeably rougher there is definitely a problem.

If you think there is an Issue Step 1 - Find a person with same Injectors Step 2 - Start his car cold Step 3 - Compare with your car.

If other cars with same injectors Idle better then there is either a problem with your Injectors or the Tune - In that case take it back to the Tuner.

Considering Your paying $800-$1500 for a Tune your tuner is making decent money off you - so taking a car back when there is a problem after their work was done should not be any sort of issue, yes ofcourse there is some cowboys out there but if it's a reputable shop then I don't see a problem.

My Car has ID1000's and It Idles pretty much like stock if not a tiny bit better at times, so if your idle is noticeably worse then there is a problem and it needs to be fixed.

Has anybody ever experienced an Issue where when you put the car into reverse when cold, it will surge e.g idles up and down very quickly like tiny blips for like a bit then stops? My car does it sometimes.

In all honest tuner shouldn't let the car out of the workshop without cold starting it the next day just to make sure it's running right. I had to go back to my tuner 4 times to fix my tune and yea that's good of them to fix it, but next time I'll be travelling a few hours for a tune and not gonna make the trip a couple of times just because the tuner got lazy that day...

Before my Tune, when cold especially it would surge pretty badly, not like a misfire, but more of a prolonged hesitation. After the tuning it did not do this.... but began surging when put in reverse I have not yet had the time to go back to the tuner shop to fix this.

Also when cold, when first taking off with a decent amount of throttle, it makes noise and goes nowhere, and then it just takes off, it feels like having the brakes on and stalling it up momentarilly. Others on here had said their FG's had done this - I asked a Mechanic and he said it could be the LSD acting up when cold.
