I'm lurking in this thread to see the engine damage. That little turbo isn't designed to do what you think you want it to. Happy to be proven wrong, but I have my popcorn ready

Why engine damage? I have seen 4 FG turbos now blow turbos over 300rwkw (eveny own was starting to show signs of uphappy when it come off) yet no engine damage.

My FG turbo would run 18psi in the mid before falling to 14 up top. That's stock flapper but a 12psi actuator

Masda74 I spoke to the tuner and was advised that it's normal to idle bit rough at cold start and I've left it at that, Benny the car was not dynoed stock so I don't know I did the work myself and towed it to the tuner I'm in Wollongong

Mate I was I'm in the same boat, got id1000s and it basically idles like sh*t for the first 3 or 4 minutes, mine was tuned at one of the best tuners in nsw, so I'm not sure what the go is

What fuel are you using?

Poor idle for 3-4 mins is unacceptable, speak to your tuner and have them rectify the issue.
