MA91CK billet turbos and weathered engines dont mix Donating Members 1,346 Member For: 12y 8m 17d Gender: Male Location: Wollongong Posted 26/02/14 11:08 PM Share Posted 26/02/14 11:08 PM The tuna bought and installed mine. Nothing wrong with the tuner or shop, let's just say he is one of the best, but maybe he got lazy this day. I feel like an idiot ringing up now cause it was done back in November. When I start it, you can't touch the throttle or it goes off the afr (wideband) scale lean and wants to stall. Even when I'm driving and I blip the throttle, it goes lean then comes back to where it should be, it's weird because off the throttle shows like 11 afr's? I don't think this is right. The tune he did before was fine, punch it and afrs go straight to 12s then back to 11s @WOT. Nit this big lean swing then to where it should be. Has thrown a few lean/rich codes which makes me think he stuffed up somewhere

I feel like an idiot ringing up now cause it was done back in November.ring and talk to him, I had problems and took it back to him a few times . Taking it back to him again next Wednesday for overboosting and running rich issues, they're always willing to help mate, just ask. Also not costing me a cent. Any fair workshop will fix the original tune if it's playing up. Lets be honest, the average tune costs around $900 which isn't cheap, the tune better be in tip top shape ! I normally get in the car, start her up. let her idle for 3 seconds and then put it in reverse and let it idle at normal rpm and drive out the driveway. As mentioned before, when I got the car modded and tuned, it was really rough idle for like 10 seconds before it went away.I took it back to MT and the changed the scaling in the tune and that worked miracles.I do recall that before the tune sometimes I would have a rough start, but not all the time. I got my ID1000 injectors from MT.I am wondering if this may have anything to do with the Throttle body by any chance? may need a clean up?
