Got two thing's that are bugging me at the moment, it has a vibration/humming that starts at around 50kph through to 110+kph.

From the research I've done it suggests that a wheel bearing has had it's day. Can someone clarify this?

Also when started cold and in park you wouldn't even know the car is on, put your foot on the brake and select Drive and it shakes and feels like it's about to vibrate to pieces, can someone shed some light on this?

Cheers

Johnny

I have had a few issues with the territory over the last 2 years.

Coils break down giving good spark with no load then once you drive it, it feels like you drop a cylinder.

Do a couple of things before spending too much on a simple thing.

clean the throttle body

check the plugs for fouling or corrosion.

check the lead from the coil to the plug oil or water

check the intake manifold for leaks and check the mount bolts for tension.

that is what I would start with

Wheel bearing are on my to do list as well.... I guess it a common issue with the territory.

I will have to change the coils out when I start modding then, just so they're done..

Thanks for the heads up man, I'll check those things you've mentioned in the next few days.

I found a set of wheel bearings on eBay http://bit.ly/NkCThs are these a good option?

It really depends on what brand of bearing they use.

If they have a good bearing then they will do fine, If not your back at square 1
