People dont care what turbo its got, or mods, unless they are enthusiasts, which account for about 5% of the buying market.

If I was in the market for a FG XR6T, id be looking for a bone stocker, or a ex hwy car from the auctions. Sorry dude, but yours would be one of the last id look at.

Ex hwy can be bought from auctions for under 20K

Yep I bought mine for 18 in 2010, car was only 2yrs old

shaft was fine last wednesday when I went to eastern creek, the best MPH I managed was 134 with the slipping box, it should be closer to 137-138mph for my power level

I still think that slip or delay could have been tuned out, mine was

Been doing some research, I went to Autotech today and spoke with Spiro, then called Nizpro and C&V performance

All transmissions can handle around the same power level based on what I was told by the respective workshops

drive-in drive-out prices:

CMS stage 2 transmission with billet input shaft, approx. $7500

Autotech stage 2 with billet input shaft $6000

Nizpro stage 2 transmission with stage 2 billet input shaft $7000

C&V performance with billet input shaft $10000 ( C&V couldnt tell me what power it's rated to , lol)

Very surprised at how cheap the Nizpro package is, they said they have sold hundreds of billet shafts , surely has to be the most tested and proven shaft?

I'm in the same spot as you bud. Saving up for a cms stage 2 build now... can't afford the billet shaft so will have to make do with the cryo/shot peened input shaft. Reckons it's good for 400rwkw which is a bit more than what I'm making so I should be right.

Hamish ask the others to exactly tell you whats going into the box build..... ?

what brand of clutchers used ??

what mods if any are they doing to the valve body, if they know what to do ??

are they replacing the solinodes ??

how many extra clutches are going in each pack ??

just like everything that you do, you need to compair apples for apples
