They were, and are going regardless. Why bother.

It will be a changing of the guard for Australian economics and employment, the final conclusion to our manufacturing workforce and the final fulfilment of our move to a service based economy rather than a goods based economy. Yeah because big companies like Toyota/Holden/Ford make those decisions in 5 months..Dear Bill Shorten,I hope some government internet tracking thing picks this up.. You are a retard. These decisions have been in the background and waiting to happen for years.. Out of all 3 manufacturers they just wanted one of the other ones to go first..Regards,Someone who doesn't believe main stream media all the time.. Yes Billy that's right, they have only had five months to try and digest the stinking sh*t sandwich that was handed to them. But we will overlook the fact that Mitsubishi & Ford announced their departure under Labor. That must have been Howard's fault. PS: A somewhat callous observation on the whole 'sky will fall...30 thousand people losing their jobs' hype. Quick Wikifacts show a workforce of 2,082,216 in Victoria. So that's 1.44%. Not good, but not exactly the end of the world is it? Edited 10/02/14 11:35 PM by tab
