First couple of tanks have been a 16 and a 15 l/100km's. (both tanks have been with a lot of testing the new boost though :P so will expect a bit better if I ever drive economically)

Fill from empty took around 43l. Was a hot day/hot tank - 2 servo's wouldn't even let me chuck gas in, so will wait for a normal fill or 2 before I know what it will really take.

I did switch the tune to the 95 petrol after the first servo denied me - no issues with that. Tune felt really good too - felt like how the cars should have come out from the factory.

Switching back to my lpg tune once I got home caused a failed transfer - needed to wait a half hour, return to stock tune and then load the lpg tune. All good. Will just make sure I'm in a safe place when changing tunes in close succession in the future in case it has the same issue.

Over all - oh hell yeah :D

Am over the moon with how everything is going.

The stock tyres that (despite what people say) had performed fine up til now, including a 12.9 1/4 with no traction issues at all. Now they step out a bit too easily - is the DCS light meant to be flashing so often :P

Set of Innvo's will soon be ordered (need a paycheck or 2 first though - tune, rego, insurance all within the same fortnight blew the budget)

Am pretty sure a set of bushes will also need to put aside for too.

Once back on track I reckon some suspension work (for handling/ride - not fussed about getting it lower) and I'll have the car exactly where I want it. Will also look at ways to minimise the drivetrain backlash when quickly going off load/acceleration.

I may get Mick to do a 98 tune at some stage (because - why not - he's already given me 7 tunes - 2 more will round it off nicely and would be nice to see the difference between a gas tune and a proper petrol tune)

Overall - A+++ excellent service, will use again :)

Thought I was meant to skip the TCM?

The failed flash had the effect you mentioned (thankyou for the warning - I would have been a bit stressed with the failed tune and kept trying/pulling my hair out/calling you up) instead of leaving it for a while then trying again.

Was a sigh of relief when the stock tune loaded properly, and then the LPG one.

Was a case of it stalling on the "Unlocking ECU" stage - am tipping it doesn't like too many changes over too short a period.

No new error codes (just five there that I imagine are routine)

Cheers.

Pretty sure I skipped it (can't remember it asking if I'm honest, but would have skipped if offered the choice)

Not stressed about it.

A few tanks worth of usage for consumption comparisons:

Pretty easy to tell when I was playing, commuting or touring. The 43l fills are full tanks from empty - one of the 45l's was a fill - the other was a couple of litres top up then a 43l fill.

The 13l/100kms seems pretty much around where touring will fall at best - the 11's and 12's would have been best case scenarios; around 15 for my stop start city driving - playtime will probably creep up a bit (the 17l/100kms would have had a fair bit of travelling to the curvy roads with sedate driving)

All up - maybe 3l/100kms higher consumption than I was getting on 98RON - with an extra 100hp added into the mix :D

Got the gas on at the right time - 4,500kms in the fortnight since I got the car back off Mick :)

kms liters l/100km

265 43 16.22641509

300 45 15

355 45 12.67605634

Costs me about 12 cents per kilometer now - on 98RON it was around 20 cents per kilometer.

Car will be back to Mick shortly (is up for a service as well) for him to have a play to fine tune the gas gauge (starts on 3/4 light when full and shows empty while there's still about 1/3rd of a tank left) and for him to have a go at eeking a little more capacity out of a fill (hopefully a few more litres than the 43l it's taking now). Gas ICU played up on one occasion (that I've noticed) and ran petrol while the gas was active so he's organised a change over for that as well.

Absolutely wrapped with the results the guys were able to achieve and their level of service and customer support has honestly been second to none - in any industry I've ever come across.

Just need to get rid of the big magnet in the front that attracts the steering end towards railings don't I BizKets?

(or is that the right foot that controls the rear end I need to change?) :P
