Went to watch the boss take his BMW 325i for a run. Got me pretty keen to take old black betty out for a run. Might wait till I do a DBA and ms 400 package before I head out though. Sandown was great and definitely going again, but the dozen or so surface changes, patches and the rivers of water made it bloody hard in the wet to really give it a go where I was confident at all. I see the rivers you had to deal with. Pretty good effort for a first timer and the fact ya have to drive the car home. Did remember to take the baby seat out of the back before I headed there though Didn't bother playing with tyre pressure or the shocks - figured I had more than enough to worry about for the 1st go. Bought the car 4 years ago (1% finance over 48 months. (<$40k for specced up Limited Edition) Final payment went through today. I've spent the last 4 years keeping the car stock standard and only ever driven it to church on Sundays. Finally I can get a tune put into the car, take it to the drags, take it round the track and let it loose on some curvy roads Damn I showed a lot of restraint til now.
