If it's been on a bit too long or it's been a while since my last wash and the wax/polish/finish they put on has had time to disappear and they've hardened then a little intervention is required (bit of spit and a fingernail) or the next wash takes care of it anyway. Will be interesting to see how easily those come off once the car is treated. I reckon they'll have a harder time sticking to the harder, more repellant coating, but there'll always be the occasional thing that refuses to play ball (like hot, melted rubber from the rear tyres). (will post pics as one at the end - nothing special to see, we all know what an XR6T looks like)The wet sanding to correct the burnt clear at the rear took him 6 hours - will have to see if there's anything I can do to protect it in the future. This attention to detail is making the final price seem more and more reasonable every update. Looks silver now, not just shiny greyHats off to Morrie - cannot recommend him highly enough. Spent another couple of hours cleaning the interior, windows (45 mins on the inside of the windscreen alone) in addition to the 6 hours correcting the burnt coat on the rear bumper - none of which was expected nor charged for.Almost makes me wish I'd gotten a black or darker car - the results would have been even greaterLooking forward to seeing how well it stands up to time and daily wear and tear.Aren't allowed to wash the car now for two weeks - I think that's almost the only time I've been disappointed to hear those words.(Note - the second photo was when the car was brand new, zero K's - not after the detailing just done) Edited 18/09/14 08:37 AM by Rab

Once done it is far easier to invest the time and coin for good quality timely maintenance. Inside and out. Interior is faultless except for a few small scrubs on drivers leather bolster and an inch of gutter rash on one wheelIt is always a pleasure to get into for driver and passengers..Still get lots of thumbs upOther than the obligatory stone chips etc. Paint is like glass over all .Neo is a great colour for a good treatment.. Nice and deep ( Rancidpunx did mine originally)Might be some pics in "my garage"Under the bonnet , inside and out mates say it's like brand new. A BF over 7 years new with 90KsSure beats " fark it needs a good tub" or "time to get another"Good job bloke enjoy it
