I know what's gunna happen here but gunna ask anyway...

These things will run on 91 but what are the 'cons' for doing a 91/gas tune against a 95/gas tune?

Hope that question makes sense. .... It does in my head.

Awesome :)

Not unimpressed with that as the "compromise" tune at all :) Friggin ridiculous what can be achieved (relatively) cheaply if you ask me.

I think that should get me to Adelaide from Melbourne (or close to) without having to stop for petrol or wishing I had more power :)

Am starting to think I may run on that tune normally and not have to worry about making sure I've got gas in the tank all the time/worry when it's getting low.

Would also prevent the case of where you get too used to how much power the car has - I can switch over to the "hot" tune for fun and a reminder, but it'd never get "old hat"

Hanging to see what she does once you tighten up the tune.

And.... on the pure gas tune :D

Hope she continues to play nice for you on the dyno and I hope Ben keeps nagging for updates so I don't have to :P

91/LPG tune - question would be more an issue of fuel availability as far as I was worried. I was confident of being able to get 95 anywhere I went, and that anyone who borrowed my car would put at least 95 in. I would have gone a 98/lpg tune if I was after the figures on the secondary tune, but would be worried when I drove the back of b/f that a servo may not have 98 or LPG.

A quick question while I remember to ask (and will do it in the forum so someone with the same q's may get them answered)

What's the dangers if I'm running the dedicated gas tune and run out/switch over to petrol? :

Will the engine/management compensate;

is it ok if I drive sedately;

should I pull over and swap tunes immediately;

is it instant detonation?

Will try to answer the questions when on my laptop. The compromise tune will be lower than this current tune due to the compromise to get 2 different fuel systems working on 1 tune, you have to remember that the jtg does not have an ecu to adjust

All good. Am only asking here because I'll forget to do it in person :P

edit: any idea what to expect on the gas only tune yet? (only asking because Ben hasn't and I'm hanging :P)
