hi all, just changed from 235/45/18's to 245/35/19's on my bf xr6t.. I plugged in the sct tuner to reset parameters but as it only has 2x custom tunes installed it didnt have that option... upon taking it for a drive it doesnt seem my speedo is out, judging by other traffic and speed zones... so my question is .. is the speedo electronically controlled from the transmission or at the rear wheels..? do I need to speak with my tuner about resetting it... I think the difference was about 8 revolutions per km doing the maths..

was there an oppitnal upgrade to 19's on the bf from factory or was it only 18's. if the was an option for 19's there shouldn't be a problem. I had 245/35 r19 on a ba and never had an issue.

correction.. my 18's are 235/40's.. and ive just realised this should have been posted in 'wheels & tyres'

it works out to a 1% error in speedo, so at 100kmh I am really doin 101.4kmh...

is it really worth worrying about..??

Considering your speedo will have a factory programmed error at 100kph of approx 3%. Meaning your speedo says 100 but you're really doing 97 then you will be fine.
