Can anyone comment on the 'legalities' of braided lines?

I was under the impression that they were not ADR approved, although I remember reading here somewhere that there was a company testing/developing an ADR approved set...

Would love some for my 6/4 brembo's when I change the pads, rotors and fluid :spoton:

Cheers,

Dan

ADR approved are available. If they are ADR approved they are generally advertised as such and will have a sticker/label attached saying so.

My limited understanding is that non shielded/sheathed lines aren't adr approved as are lines assembled with with reusable fightings.

I seriously doubt you'd get pinged for a set of Teflon sheathed lines mounted in the original mounts points.

would the braided lines be different for the standard calliper in comparison to the brembo callipers?

I have posted on page 45 of the group buy thread. I have put the idea forward.

With that in mind, could you guys put your hands up in there

Along with putting your interest, could we also get. What year, model and type of brakes you guys have.

I have a 2011 FG XR6T with standard callipers.

Wish I had the cash, saving for weddings sucks. At that price I'm adding it to the list of yet to be decided 30th birthday present from the gf. Tinting, plates (only the $250 ish slimline [sB 83 WA] or similar) or braided lines...

Good luck on group buy fellas!

I know they push PWR ZF transmission heat exchanger hoses onto fittings for free if your name is Arron!
