Tire life at 220 tread wear is woeful, I cannot fathom how bad 60 would be.

"No officer - it wasn't me"

"Dude - there's a trail of rubber beads from your mums house, to the milk bar, to your girlfriends house and then through the speedtrap 50kms ago that leads right to your rear tyres. If Hansle and Grettle had 60 tread wear on their sandles they wouldn't have got lost"

I only got 10k out of the NT05, they are noisy, cop bait cause of the way the tread is done and slip and slide.

I bet I will get 10k+ out of the Corsas. But what ever I get I do enjoy the ability to put my foot down in confidence

Post a pic of your current odometer in this thread.

If you get 10k out of the corsa's I will buy you a beer and burger at grill'd.

I'd rather spend 320 or what ever they are and replace them every 10,000 than spend 700+ and replace them every 12,000km

I'd rather spend 700+ or what ever they are and replace them every 5000km than spend 320 and replace them ever 12,000km if it means I can outgun you at the lights

My 160$ tyres do fine in 3rd gear roll ons if I take it easy in the shift to 4th so im good for highway runs

No tyre will hook up from a start when you have over 400rwkw so it doesn't really matter,

It puzzles me that everybody is happy to tune around the mechanical limitations of the components in the driveline but won't do the same for the grip level of the their chosen tires.

I ran progressive boost ramp up im 1st/2nd and 3rd in my BA and I think most members who have cruised with me would agree that it got off the line pretty quick?

BF onwards ZF cars have really great rpm/road speed/max torque based torque and boost management that can really help get the car moving on the street.

Because dyno queen

Honestly for me but

I don't want the stick tyres because I want to do the least amount of damage to my driveline as possible

And if that makes me a dyno queen then I'm happy to wear that tag
