It puzzles me that everybody is happy to tune around the mechanical limitations of the components in the driveline but won't do the same for the grip level of the their chosen tires.

I ran progressive boost ramp up im 1st/2nd and 3rd in my BA and I think most members who have cruised with me would agree that it got off the line pretty quick?

BF onwards ZF cars have really great rpm/road speed/max torque based torque and boost management that can really help get the car moving on the street.

Is it possible to set up an e-boost2 and use the boost by gear ??

I like doing skids and not burn a hole in my wallet

I have to say the "Tri-Ace Carrera" tyres that came on my new rims have held up really well. They are stamped with treadwear 420 and traction A. The wet grip levels should be illegal (seriously) but they hold my power fine in the dry unless I really punish them. They sure seem to be hard wearing so far. On the rear of a daily driver they have their place I must say. Will still replace them with my age old faves Kumho KU31 or maybe try some Achilles ATR2 Sports. Probably Invos for the front but still undecided.
