How long ago Dre?

They have newer type cores now.

Something to think about which not many people here would,

The Plaz 1000hp tube and fin is only 76mm thick.

The PW stage 2 is 90mm thick. Although the Plaz is larger in total cubic inches overall.

The thinner thickness of the Plaz leaves room to run a larger radiator like the PWR 55mm v8 radiator.

Not something many people will care about here... But if you do circuit days most certainly something worth considering.

on the weekend I tested out the cooler stigmata fitted up to my car and although it was a lot hotter day than my last outing I ran consistently 3mph faster than my previous trap speed pb and also managed to sneak out a 10. ran the same crap street tyres and full weight. my nizzy cooler and stigmatas cooler cost the same amount...

As I live in regional Queensland, I do not have the luxury of having performance shops, that have built high horsepower Barra engines. So, when choosing my intercooler, I spoke to Kevin from Process West, and Alex from Plazmaman. Both were absolutely fantastic, and took time out of their busy schedules to explain the principles and flow charistics of each brand and were open and honest about the pro's and con's of each brand.

In the end, I followed what the guys in the big hp cars (Spiko and Qik1) were running, and purchased a Plazmaman 1900hp cooler and supporting components. With the aforementioned gentlemen having such exceptional performance specialist assisting with their builds, I thought it foolish to ignore their test proven parts. Although their goals are much higher that mine, I wanted to ensure that I had an effective and efficient system, which would be conducive to making power.

I know that their particular applications do not suit, or are necessary for the majority of users, But, in essence, the fundamentals of each cooler design would still be the same, with lower power output engines.
