Id love one of those huge ones stigmata makes masda but I assume they would be very expensive.. And I was also wondering about the lag factor with such a massive core.

Plaz 1000hp isn't that big, looks nice and fits the budget

Plus it's nice and light

Sweet as Tim. doesn't hurt to contact Stigmata and ask for a price.

Do it once and do it right. You the one making the choice and so you will have to live with the decision.

I hope you make the right decision.

PW FTW... :P

nah I am kidding an no I do not want to start another debate.

sorry to those who may b offended......

I prefer lightweight tube n fin, have played with all types of cooler cores for 20+ years. For some reason it seems a touchy subject lol. I have just imported a bar n plate core to compare with the euro tube n fin cores I am using. Will be posting some data on it soon. I can say though that it is around 3 times the weight of the euro tube n fin and flow area seems considerably less. I want to run a back to back test with identical tanks so flow and air speed is the same with a repeat loading cycle. I think I will see if I can get them tested at PWR's wind tunnel facility as well as back to back on car/dyno. Just some food for thought though, I picked up 45rwkw from changing from my pwr stepped to a bigger euro tube n fin. I also picked up 6mph down quarter. The new cooler although considerably larger weighed in considerably less. Just like when cooking heat is transferd faster through a lighter aluminum pan than a thicker, heavier one....

waiting on this one. look forward to hearing about the results

Darren talked me into the Stage 2 (well haven't bought it yet; but will eventually)....yes you will need to chop chop....but apparently stage 2 is just more efficient and better

I wont even be going anywhere near 400rwkw either lol

congrats on paying off your car!

and the 4 year thing too :P

Process West Stage 2....I love PW gear but im not at all a fan of this core.

This so called heat soak you speak of can be the factory air temp correction pulling timing, as I often see tunes with this left as per factory.

Why's that? I haven't heard of anybody else having a problem with it. Was it just not suited to what you wanted it for?

I hate talking about coolers on here as it turns into a company v's company debate..but would not go a PW stage 2, the heat soak at the track was crazy for such an expensive cooler and that's at 320kw,is fine for the odd drag run, I went 11.7 with this cooler, but not for continual runs like powercruise... stage 3 is much better as it uses mass for efficiency, but just to big and heavy for my application..

Am in no way bagging PW, I have his products as well.. my 2 cents

my new cooler tube and fin (stigmata's) is lighter then my pw stepped cooler.

in summer my pw used to get hot really quick and stay hot but with the new one bendoco can back me up on this. up the river sunday 34c and the car didn't back down it was going strong even after multiple WOT.

my 2 cents. now back to SA:blink:
