Hi Guys,

I am thinking about getting a tune for my fg with just upgraded fuel injectors. So far I got quoted $ 2100 for a custom tune with custom bigger fuel injectors. My question is I have another 400 to spend. Should I go for a CAI? Or since I have a quad cat back exhaust should I get a bigger CAT? How much power increase should I get? Can anyone please advise?? Best tuners in Sydney?

The Factory Air Filter flows very well, if it is dirty replace it.

A 4" Hole on the Bottom right side of Airbox will help it flow to it's max potential and have absolutely no problem flowing lots of air.

If you have a Pre 2011 Model, Upgrade the Cat.

If It's 2011 Onward, No need to upgrade Cat.

Since you are going for more power, a good upgrade is an F6 Intercooler, it will bolt right in and is about 30% Larger.

This is all you need to get good power out of your stock Turbo.

Best to let your preferred tuner source the parts you need.

They will have their own preferences as to what works best for them.

As sixman has said go see selected tuners and speak to them about budget and what you want then go with the tuner you feel most comfortable with and use what parts he likes to tune with to ensure you get the best results.
