Your avatar has a BF F6 front bar... if it's a BA F6 like mine and all other F6's with the T56, the diff ratio stock is 3.73.

3.45 for the BA XR6T's if that's yours (still stock).

Good choice ;) the BF F6 front bar certainly looks better.

You may have had some revs left in 4th... but of course this depends on tyre size, diff ratio etc. Since you said you were tickling the limiter before the finish line, might be time for a taller tyre and another crack at it.

I was running a 275 40 17 MT's. I was hittin limiter rite on the line if not right after but not before so it might have 1 or 2 mph at best left in it with that setup but would need a bit more power to get it there. For time and I was runnin id say puts me bang on the power figure it made.

Im not too sure, could be what keithy said, they might be 3.73s. Id say the ba's had the taller gears for the 5 speed manual but released the 6 speed with the same gears. They might have gone the shorter gears in the bfs being a 6 speed alowing for 6th as an added overdrive.

As far as I know, all T56 factory fitted BA-FG's have a 3.73 diff ratio. It's possible that Matt's is a non-factory T56 with a 3.45 rear giving him a bit more top end in 4th gear.

Were you using the same tyres, Gaz?
