I have access to some F6 injectors and a venom cat..So I have read that injectors are the first units that require attention.Question is will the cat do much for me ?My thoughts are injectors and a flash tune..Will there be any advantage with the cat if I am not looking for than 270-290 rwkw? The thought I have is with a cat will it reduce the boost required for the power level?Would appreciate your thoughtsOwn a ford cortina v8 for the strip that's enough.. Never had any say Panda I <3 Floods Silver Donating Members 11,198 Member For: 13y 7m 4d Gender: Male Location: South West QLD Posted 15/01/14 03:33 AM Share Posted 15/01/14 03:33 AM Injectors and Tune IMO are all that's required for a really base level of work with a little bit more grunt than standard. The tune alone would be able to improve responsiveness etc.Injectors, Cat and Tune Slightly more grunt again..Injectors, Cat, Cooler and Tune Probably slightly more grunt than option 2 but making it with the peace of mind that the vehicle is taking in nice and cool air.. thejet New Member 5 Member For: 11y 8m 15d Posted 15/01/14 09:52 AM Author Share Posted 15/01/14 09:52 AM I am in Melbourne.. I have the v8 airbox fitted and k&n filter, also removed the restrictor ring in the cat.The vehicle has 90K on it x telstra lease vehicle..... got it for 25K inc transfer 6 months ago...As I said looking for a little more if 270 rwkw is it without a cooler so be it as I want to keep it as stock as possible ... had a v8 capri (10.3 slips) and now a cortina v8 should run mid 12s cruiser..Just felt like I need a little more punch on the G6E..So yes to the cat or no need??? can spend the money on a custom tune instead..Thanks for your responces... Just an old guy still young at heart..

It's really disappointing putting your foot down for the second or third time in a row and just having nothing there Maybe something to consider, I imagine it's even worse with more than stock power

Z2TT Member 714 Member For: 12y 9m 7d Posted 22/01/14 11:29 AM Share Posted 22/01/14 11:29 AM Since you have a 2011 you have a decently high flowing cat, so all it needs is a ring removal which you have done.If you want to notice a good difference, do Injectors and Tune as the factory injectors run out of flow once you begin raising boost pretty quick. An Intercooler will help with retaining power after multiple Pulls. I had a F6 Intercooler on mine making 300rwkw and that did the job fine on normal to warm days. I did not notice a big difference to switching to a aftermarket big intercooler with regular driving with a few pulls here and there on regular days. The pipe/pipes that let go is there a common one? As I know some one at an exhaust place that could make up the weak section for me..Thanks for the thought Ratter , would like to remain stealth..Once again my thanks to all
