This is nowhere near enough to keep the valves shut at high rpms 85-90 psi installed height of the new springs, some 75% more stiffness Highly recommend for 320+rwkW applicationsPulled off the plazmaman site . There is known issue with them, to get the correct spring pressure they have recessed the collets further down into the retainer. This is a big issues on the exhaust side as the valve stem is slightly shorter which brings the retainer higher which then makes contact with the rockers arm. I have called them about this and they played dumb. Have seen this so far on 7 engines so far.The crow retainers sit higher to allow a greater installed height, for high lift cams. It has nothing to do with correct spring pressure.But I agree the photos you show dont look good. I better keep an eye on mine Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
