Karnyge New Member 10 Member For: 11y 9m 9d Posted 11/01/14 01:50 PM Share Posted 11/01/14 01:50 PM (edited) Hey guys, I'm getting a grinding sound from the engine that only seems to happen intermittently, when the sound does occur its at around 2500rpm and stops after 3000, it's an fg 08 turbo manual with 90000kms, I drove it a bit hard off the lights today in first and then the grinding sound came back, I pulled over put it in neutral and reved it to 2500 and the grinding was there sounds like middle of the engine maybe right side, after about another 5 minutes of driving it went again and didn't come back and I had no issues turbo seemed to spool fine, any ideas, cheers Edited 11/01/14 01:52 PM by Karnyge Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/87264-engine-grind/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
