plenty of ZF cars using GW oil with no issues

I didn't have any issues for 6mths either.Anyway I'll have ZF fluid back in it next week. Its a bit like the argument of using heat exchanger or trans cooler

So 6 months after the oil change going perfectly you are blaming the oil?

There are a few reasons why I'm going back to ZF,my tuner doesn't like GW and has had a couple of cars flaring/slipping since GW went in.The specs of GW aren't same as ZF oil which may or may not make a difference.Anyway I'm no auto trans specialist but it makes sense to me from all research done to stay with ZF oil while its stock so I'll be doing that.thx

ZF oil from ford is the only approved oil to be used in these trans, we have cars that have been running around with GW for over 3 years with no issues, stock and modded cars, ZF tuned and Stock ZF

What's the deal with the gw drum saying on it it's approved for use in the zf then? Have they just decided themselves it's approved with no approval from zf themselves?

Mick, you seem to have had great success with the GW so I would like to ask you this, If the GW and Ford ZF oil were exactly the same price which one would you recommend?
