The 5s block is significantly stronger and has greater room for larger pistons. Should end up with around a 2.23 ish capacity and thinking about 11:1 or maybe even 12:1 comp because e85

That comp is going to be awesome. You'll start breaking the driveline next. I've been in my mates ear about going e85 on his corolla but he reckons he's nearly out of injector on 98. Pretty lame excuse of you ask me.

I think im going to have to go custom pistons to get the comp I want Weak excuse, Get more injector then win!

The scion guys in the states use the 5s don't they? Pretty sure that's the same block in the tarago/estima. If we ever have another kid I'll be getting one of them out of necessity and do what you're doing but N/A cause soft.

It's also in the Camry. That's where I got confused. That motor is big in the states. How much of this build are you going to do? Besides machining are you farming anything else out?
