mine are similar to those, however mine use a nut style setup to positively retain the hardline. ... possibly remanufactured to do away with the nut style?

either way, the 5/16th ones will grab your lines. Just put a light smear of grease around the tip on the male hardline (chalk it up a bit.. no one likes it dry) at installation to prevent rolling the oring.

They first batch of speed flow ones I used had issues with the oring groove being to shallow. The orings tore as soon as they where installed (and they where f'n tight to get on and off) Speedflow sent me replacements and they have been fine for the best part of 3 yrs on PULP.

Iv been researching these the last week and am going with these guys..

They are a much cheaper alternative to the ProFlow ones.. which u have to also add a pushlock hose tail to that fitting..

Its $15 vs $50 for the ProFlow aliminium alternatives..

and yes the 5/16 female with 3/8 hosetail fits the 8mm od hardlines and a 3/8 hose which is the common hose used in surgetank kits..
