After all the excuses under the sun and several hundred phonecalls to him, ive finally had enough and im having it removed from where its rested in peace for last 16 months of its existance. Obviously my post is to get some advice from the forum members as to where I can take the car (somewhere that has a good reputation and knows what theyre doing) so I can get my car back and enjoy it again. I know too that the whole fuel system is going to need to be cleaned out along with the engine oil and possibly the tyres.Any info would greatly greatly be appreciated. Thanks again... I opted for the nizpro input shaft and some stronger clutches and an upgraded tune. I didnt exactly give the guy a deadline becuase I have my daily driver and wasnt too fussed about getting it back asap. Weeks turned into months which eventualy turned into a year and like I said before, a hundred excuses and promises later im over it.I know im partly to blame for my relaxed attitude to the situation, but when youve got a mechanic that youve known for a while giving you an excuse, do you take his word for it? Yeah, but now its time to move on...The car has had some work done at CV in he past (cooler, throttle relocate kit, oil pan, surge tank, tune) and im tempted to get it booked in there and just telling them to "get it back on the road no matter what".
