So don't really know much about turbo petrols. The car has only got 28.000 on it and has been great, but now for the last week or 2 it just feels as though it just hasn't got the get up and go it used too once have. I have a "scanguage" plugged into the obd2 plug. And my vac at idle is -10psi at operating temp builds from -2/4 psi and max boost ive seen is 6.5psi @WOT.... Just want to know if this it what the vac\boost pressure is suppose to be stock?? Cheers jak88

Jak88 Member 6 Member For: 11y 3m 10d Posted 05/01/14 02:18 PM Author Share Posted 05/01/14 02:18 PM Hay mate yeah it has been last week had some 42+days,and it did drive like crap, sluggish and even sometime had a bit of a lumpy idle. but even at night when its cooler 23-26 it does make a difference but still doesn't feel the same as when I first brought the car... So is my vac/boost pressure normal for standard? -10psi to 6.5 max?

Jak88 Member 6 Member For: 11y 3m 10d Posted 06/01/14 12:47 AM Author Share Posted 06/01/14 12:47 AM Thanks rattler so that's about right then 10psi = 20.3inhg or there abouts. What about the max boost what should that be for a stock fg? Sorry for newbie questions Cheers jak88

Lennox Member 2,586 Member For: 12y 7d Gender: Male Location: Perth Posted 06/01/14 01:19 AM Share Posted 06/01/14 01:19 AM I know nothing about using the obdii gauges but I saw someone else say that stock he never saw more than 6.5psi with an obdii program whereas mine is also stock and I'll see around 9-10psi on my boost gauge, which is what they say it should be Maybe someone with more knowledge knows why 6.5 is the max shown on OBD scanners? Unfortunately I don't have one to compare
