Gtx3582R Vs 62/35 Precision

The GTX is slightly larger than the 62.

Im pretty sure its a 35r turbine hence the use of factory ford turbine cover/direct bolt in

Took the same punt with the MTA750. Hasn't made the top end of the GTX (yet - most GTX seem to be happy at 20+psi and I haven't got that far yet) but comes on like the 3576r. I am very much interested to see some dyno sheets from those running these precisions over the next few months.

Like I said, once it's in and tuned I will post an overlay of the PTE and GT3582R.<br />If it makes 450+ on Spiro's dyno I will be very happy, if it spools like the GT or better I will be even happier.

Well see.. but just the size and pure physics will dictate that it just cant be..

I just came off a billet modded factory turbo.. and that was a ball tearer.

It really surprised me and backed it up at the track.

Great response and filled the void in the top end.

I would recommend that mod for someone who is dead set fixated on keeping the low end response.

Only reason Im moving up was a buyer came along for my unit..so I let it go for basically what it cost me...

Mine goes on later this week..

What does everyone mean by spool and response? Spool time to full boost say in a given gear?

They way I drive I like to be in a gear higher and pull the gear through the ramp up of boost.

GT3582r Compressor 62/82; Turbine 68/62 65 lb/hr (fits ford turbine housing)

PTE6235 Compressor 62/82; Turbine 68/62? ? (fits ford turbine housing)

GTX3582r Compressor 62.4/82; Turbine 68/62 75 lb/hr (fits ford turbine housing)

PTE6262 Compressor 62/82; Turbine 71/62 ? lb/hr

PTE6266 Compressor 62/82; Turbine 74.2/66 ?

HTA3586r Compressor 62/86; Turbine 68/62 75+lb/hr? (fits ford turbine housing)

PTE6466 Compressor 64.4/86.6; Turbine 74.2/66 82 lb/hr?

Haven't added the Borg Warners of the approximate frame size.

The 6235 on marks car made 417rwkw @ 18psi on 98 and 487 rwkw @ 19psi on e85.

If anyone wants to buy my gtx off me I can do an overlay of both.. lol

Spool = MAP vs RPM (before and at peak boost)?

Response = MAP vs Time?
