I love the xr dash, but my cuz has a maloo r8 ute (vy) and I tell ya, its an awsome dash, im all for fords, but I totally love his ute...

still xr8 all the way (cause he wouldnt let me drive his ute :()

I went out on a ute cruise with some VY SS ute boys last night, and I must say that the dash on the SS is great.

Different to look at of course but once you look at it for a while and notice where everything is, it is a nice looking, easy to read dash.

The SS dash looks boring and simple. The XR dash looks modern, and more sophisticated.

The SS Dash does look good at night and yes it is clearer to read. I just love the look or the XR dash. It looks tough. I suppose the main thing I really hate about the VY interior is the steering wheel, man it's ugly!!! Sorry but it really does spoil the look of the interior.

I'd have to agree with that.

I've been to Sydney from Canberra a fair few times in a VY Clubsport, and the steering wheel is so..., well, just ugly!

and the locks, and the stereo, and the lights, and the cloth trim, and the a/c knobs, and the carpet speaker covers, and the sh*tty aluminium fake plastic sh*t highlights which don't match, and I'm sure theres more too.

When I dropped my AUXR in for service and got a BA for the first time the first thing I noticed was the gauges were small and hard to read at a glance, which is all it should take! Having said that I do like the look of the cluster but SS's is easier to read at a glance! :banghead:
