Speedo & Tacho - Falcon XR6 Vs Commodore SS?

Firstly, the falcon interior has it all over the commodore, ive seen the SS inside and it looks dated and unattractive...except their dash gauges, they genuinely look better and are clearer I think - what do u think?

I just dont find ours as clear, the marked silver edges arent needed and clutter things; the numbers are a bit too small and are angled.

Much better photo quality displayed here for the SS, it's a nice job though. Love my T dash particularly at night with its Phantom background. Unsure which I'd prefer.

In my opinion, the Late model camira dash looks a bit too basic. The XR dash looks purposeful with finely metriculated gauges as a performance car should have.

I agree with Zeke. "Looks better", and "looks clearer" are two completely different things.

The XR dash looks so much better, especially at night. It might not be quite as clearly laid out as the SS, but IMO it's still quite good.

You need another couple of options on your Poll:

The XR6 instruments look better, but the SS are clearer, so no vote from me.

Although the SS guages look clearer, I thing they are way too simplistic in the way they look. They look ok, but just too artificial. I do prefer the falcon dash though, especially at night. Everybody says "coool" when they see it at night

I think the XR instruments are better expescially at night.

And the SS instruments are ugly and whats the point of having a huge display when half of it is taken up with the word 'odometer'?

Just to throw a wrinkle I think the instruments in the Statesman (kind of retro font and layout) are better again, nicer than the XR, which are better than the SS and far easier to read than the SS or the XR.
