I think the stock ones were never designed to be spun + 7000rpm and with big builds +7000 happens and yeh u can run into full pump up situation

Atomic have the solution with enlarged galleries and bypass valve to remove pump up

Sounds like u knew the answer all along ....

What would stuffed lifters cause?

I notice when I do a big warm up burnout and stop straigjt away the car idles real rough for 30 seconds then comes fine again, sometimes it stalls and when I try and start it the car winds over with no compression like the spark plugs are missing...... Is this a sign of the lifter not keeping up?

Nope not valve springs.

Had 50+ dyno runs no issues only when on and off high rpm-limiter it happens,

I can so a skid on the street no issues as I continue to drive but if I do a skid and stop Instantly after the skid it dies. Definitely not springs

Don't think you have stuffed lifters. Just looks like they pump up on high revs so when you go back to idle it takes a little time for them to bleed down so all the valves close properly.

But having a higher bleed rate lifter may make the engine more clackity at idle. Talk to Atomic about it and tell us what you find out.

I'm not very familiar with the valve lash situation but is it possible to run less preload on the lifters?

That's what we used to do in the olden days to try and limit anti- pump up.
