Hi all,

The head is coming off my baby for a few bits and pieces. I want to get the lifters replaced at the same time.

Is anyone using any of the Atomic options or any other aftermarket lifters?

I haven't priced a genuine set yet but expecting them to be pricey

Cheers

Cheers

I am asking the difference between the Ford and Atomic ones. I am surprised Atomic do them but I think I remember reading they are Ford lifters with a bit more clearance with the plunger.

I wasn't asking what they do. Your right Jet. Old school and have used solids, so called antipump ups and Rhoads lifters.

I went from stock lifters on a mild hydraulic cam to Rhoads lifters and certainly gave me a better idle and 500rpm more usuable power on my Expensive Daewoo 202 so well aware there are benefits. And plenty of solid lifter cams revving to oblivion

I didn't think there was a need for them I guess some must be experiencing valve lifter pump up, but must be turning some serious RPM
