Thanx heaps to everyone who has added their suggestions! :hrmm: Im thinking along the lines of marcos or 100%, but leaning more to 100% because I still want reliability and the new car luxuries. I have talked it through with the old man, who is very good with numbers, and we have decided to save another 6-7 grand and then get the rest out of a loan. Ill keep the discussion updated as I save, and thanx again!!

Hambo_12, you poor, poor little fellow!

So you've saved up for so long and now have found your not quite there. So instead of buying something else that fits the current budget why don't you just keep that XF (or whatever) that your driving and keep saving until the budget does work out.

I don't see the point in buying another car now when your 3 quarters of the way there to your goal. Your only going to put yourself further behind in the long run because you will lose $$$ on the car your thinking of buying now and then selling it later for the XR6T.

Gritt your teeth, suck it up, kick that XF bucket in the guts and keep saving mate, the extra wait is worth it, take it from me, I had to do the same thing! :spit:

Ok different way of getting my dream ute. What is a good price to pay for a turbo ute auto, premium sound, hardcover? Good condition (I dont want it dinged up), and about 40-50k's? Anyone have a educated guess / estimate??

Hambo,

With that sort of mileage l would say very low 30's, but l dont know if there will be many around with that many km for sale yet.
