That seems extremely cheap as they have to drop the pan to get at tue solenoid, unless its possible to adjust it electronically from the OBDII port.

Yeah I have heard that too much adjustment and it wont engage first gear at all so I only adjusted it 1/2 a turn, the difference is noticeable but not extreme.

Just wish I could figure out why it keeps dropping out of gear everytime I back off :/

yeah dont worry about the experts, just start changing adjustments and see what happens.

oh wait- you searched on the interwebs..... the advice you got must be true.

seriously dude, the trans in these things is temperamental enough as it is- go to an expert and get an informed diagnosis....

In all seriousness though, I dont feel like throwing money at a lost cause so if a little tweak here or theres solves the problem then sweet, if not, id rather switch out the whole trans

Drop the oil and run genuine stuff. And check the redline oil container and see if it is ZF compatible as it needs to be. Ordinary auto trans oil does not do the trick.

Do a search in driveline under ZF oil.
