Rachet Member 3 Member For: 11y 3m 24d Posted 19/12/13 08:54 AM Share Posted 19/12/13 08:54 AM I have a BA XR6t and the motor shat its self so for the right price I managed to track down a FG NA engine, I transferred everything from the broken BA to the newer FG motor including all my mods (larger injectors, bigger turbo, cold air induction, inter-cooler, 3in exhaust) After it was all installed by my mechanic he sent me home to run it in and said to come back when id done 500km, then we'll do a performance tune.apon returning and putting it on the dino to do a performance tune he could only safely get 180kW at 9 pound boost, when he tried for 11-14 pound the motor would knock so he backed off.I thought a stock FG Na engine could get 195kW and from what ive read and researched it is possible to turbo the FG Na engine with good results basically I have a performance car that's under preforming is there any reason for this to be happening??
