Seems to up the boost a few psi so I've pulled it back out until I can test it in the dyno or Joe calls me a retard which ever comes 1st ;-) Anyway here's a quick view of the boost up with the fine mist inj. It usually runs just up to 19 tapering to 17lb on eflex. It really is a fine mist too so is imagine it would be fully vaporized by the time it has been compressed. I have 6 misters spraying the cooler and the 7th is fed into the end of the pod. Let the flaming begin haha

It's mainly for knock prevention and to help cool combustion temps. currently I'm using a 350cc/min nozzle which equates to about 10% fuel/water ratio. I never had any over boost issues with mine though. Edited 17/12/13 10:14 AM by ScatterBrain

Probly doesn't help I gave it an air box too rather than a 3" ubp.All chit aside is it fine to spray it before the turbo?I would think this would be a better place to put it but obviously things are done a certain way for a reason.Would it need to be tuned in or is it ok to have as added cooling? If the droplets are too big you risk pitting the compressor wheel. Provided you're just running water there's no need to get it retuned. Also what sort of pump are you running? Has anyone ever cross check any temp. data with/without?

However it's real potential lies in it's excellent knock suppression and the ability to absorb massive amounts of heat during the combustion process. I think from memory my 350cc/min equates to 22Kw/min of cooling capability.

I'm glad I pulled mine out when I did, there's a couple of tiny pits in one of the blades... honestly nothing to write Hm about but the potential was there for it to get nasty. May be worth going the post turbo path. I like the idea of the additional cooling and knock suppressant but is it worth it when running eflex/e85 or is this most beneficial running normal petrol? My cooler gets completely covered with a mist of water already starting from 6lb. Would it be only worth doing if it was getting tuned or is it better to have for more consistency.. maybe C none of the above.

Water injection will still be beneficial even when running E85 because it works its magic after the combustion has take place. Also It keeps plugs, valves and pistons carbon free. It can also be a saving grace if the injectors or fuel pump start playing up and the engine leans out, Like I found out early this year.
