Currently own a stock 2011 FG XR6 turbo. Have just spent a bit of money online today sourcing the cheapest prices for the mods I want. Looking to save as much as possible on labour by doing any of it possible before I send it to the shop to get tuned. Please take a look at the new bits and let me know what I can and shouldn't add before it gets tuned (probably won't be any longer than a couple weeks after everything is fitted - and can drive like a grandma when needed)

- xForce 3.5" Stainless Steel Turbo back with 4" dump

- Bosch 1000cc injectors

- Walbro 460 intake pump w/ high flow 4 bar fuel pressure reg

- Process West Stage II cooler kit

- Process West race air box w/ battery relocation kit

If you want to save on labour and fit everything your self then I would get it towed to your workshop for its tune.

you don't need to do waste gate port on an fg mate until you swap the small turbo and valve springs are hit and miss but most people don'

t need them till bigger turbo swap you should get around 310 to 330rwks on 98

Was hoping to be able to some of the upgrades without getting it towed.

Wasn't going to bother with turbo mods just yet, as I'll upgrade to a bigger turbo in months to come.

Going to get Monsta Torque to tune it with the xcal flashbox.

buy the injectors of your tuner ,, u might pay a little extra , but u could get stuck with a faulty injector (it happens) and then its your problem to fix ..

o.p, I think you will be very surprised how well the little turbo goes, I know a guy who ran very very low 11's with it.

you may need ported housing and springs though, depends who is tuning the car, some can do it,some cant.

depending on how the car delivers its power you may not need either....

does not matter who is tuning it, if the wastegate is being commanded to be fully open and the boost exceeds what is desired then the port needs to be done.
