Low Gear/rpm Ute Shutter

HI guys quick question, does anyone else experience a shuttering noise from the engine when taking off in first (rarely) and also if you are going slower then usual and accelerating at low revs in second gear - for instance, in a car park?

I have a 2012 xr6 fg ute. New to fords so not sure if it is common and if I should possibly be in first for longer rather then shift to second when going slightly slower then usual.

Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

Is it a manual or auto ??

Apparently in my manual ute it's normal, "roll on in the gearbox" apparently lol

If it's still under warranty take it back to the dealer and see what they say about it !!

yeah mate its manual. just happens during initial acceleration in first, but mostly second gear when your accelerating in a car park or something where your not going over 30 ks/h.

Good to know at least I'm not the only one, thanks for the reply. noticed a Expensive Daewoo ute made a similar noise in a car park too the other day so must be similar to the fords gearbox.

yea take it back to ford and see what they say.................. good luck with that,,

mines an auto and if I have in manual mode and try to accelerate in a too higher gear it makes a godly awfully noise as well..have I taken it back to ford...NO. why not?? because I know what the answer will be...
