Warning Lock Nut Keys

If you cannot get one off, use a drill and drill right in the centre of the nut, then slowly work your way up using larger drill bits, once you weaken the stud enough you will be able to sharply kick the wheel to break it off.

Sorry cant help mate mine is _B_ _

When I brought my car ex demo a few weeks later when I wanted to clean and rotate my wheels the lock nut wasn't in the car. I rang the dealer got told tuff luck.

Ordered new set (cant remember price) went to local tyre place to get the old ones off cost me $40

I wouldn't mind having a different nut (spline drive or something its called is it?!?) but screw lock nuts.

It must happen more than I thought with people getting wheels pinched then??

I snapped my locknut key, cracked it clean in half trying to undo an overtorqued locknut. Got a replacement from ford late last year, cost me some rediculous amount. Wish I new the 22mm socket trick then, woulda removed the remainder and got a new set.
