Big ALI got $43,000 on paper plus $5500 off new car price + premium sound and sports wheel, when I did a deal on the GT. The dealer said my T with 12750klm would go on the used car lot for about $47000 and by the time some one haggled the dealer would probably get about $45, 000 for it. Leather, auto, tinted, Narooma blue, sports exhaust. In my book and whats real if you take the new car discount, I got $48500 for it. Not bad in my book. It's all down to changeover

I really don't want to but I'm wondering what is a fair price for my N/A.The trouble is, If I lose too much and cannot get out of trouble without leaving 15,000 to 18,000 for something half decent (as I wouldn't be happy otherwise). There's no point. Financial ruin, here I come.Car is still perfect (minus a very minor, barely see it unless looking at the right angle, door ding which I'll definatley fix good as new before selling). 23,500kms.Factory extras:Rust protection, fabric protection, Tinted Windows, rear power windows, XR Scuff plates, XR Floor mats, Premium Sound, LSD.After Market:Pacemaker Headers, splitfire cone filter, 2.5" Exhaust system with hi-flow muffler & cat, computer, dual pipe chrome tip. (work done at Redcliffe Dyno & Performance). Real Ball tearer for an N/A, slap a supercharger or turbo on this thing and you're in business. I'd say you'd be looking at around $30k if it's an 03 build. Turbos would most likely be mid $30's in Sydney obviously depending on options and km's. hambo_12 Member 317 Member For: 21y 2m 7d Posted 26/01/04 10:52 PM Share Posted 26/01/04 10:52 PM In wagga there is a demo model red GT with black stripes, 450 k's. I was wondering, how much do all of you think this is worth? Also, in the trading post, I saw a phantom turbo ute, hard cover, auto 8000k's for $32500, is this a normal price, or would it be likely there is something wrong with it?? Guest cul08r Guests Posted 27/01/04 11:23 PM Share Posted 27/01/04 11:23 PM A dealer on the central coast has 03 white turbo stock with sss and 15k for $45,990, so I say yes resale is good on these. I have seen s3 AU XR6s for a hell of a lot less ($25k) so I think the BA is doing well. I have also seen a white BA T with tow etc and 60k for $42,000.Andrew

silverchris Member 129 Member For: 20y 10m 16d Location: Bulleen, Vic Posted 09/02/04 03:37 AM Share Posted 09/02/04 03:37 AM I just brought privately a Sept03 with 17K on the clock. No options other than tow bar. Cost $39. I was looking in dealers around Melb for a while and found one for $39990 but I suspect it was repaired hail damaged car because paint was cracked on ridge on passengers door. Next best dealer price was $43K for one with leather and premium sound but it was black. Several around between $43 and $49 (all used, no 03 demos - best I could get a demo for was $48 on road). Once you add on gov't fees (4%) to some of the others the price would be just a few thousand less than new, in one case it's would be cheaper to buy new. Interesting that there's no XR6T's I think.
