Fg Xr6 Turbo Remove Cat Convertor

hi mine is 2008 model, in nz we can legal remove the cat converor. has anyone done it before? does it give a deeper sound? I heard you get a stronger gas smell if that is true. also if I remove the cat, will it make my exhaust droning? I also thinking of fitting an x force muffler. does it make it sound better?

If you remove the cat the car will need a retune to avoid over boosting.

Remove the cat and put some 3" pipe in place it will be the ultimate hiflow cat but will make the car smell a bit and sound quite a bit louder though I have a hiflow and cat my car still smells so its much of a muchness but free power is good a tune will definently be required though

Like the boys said mike you can't remove the cat with out retuning it

There not like the jappas where you can take the cat out and it self adjusts

They are tuned to what gear they have in them the only thing you can do is a

Cat back muffler system and k&n panel filter any thing more after that needs to be tuned
