The turbo is great. The CNC wheels of today are so well balanced. It purrs while spinning down. I was very surprised compared to when it had the cast wheel on which was very noisy. I thought the bearings were shot.

I do think that the Perth Tuner who upgraded this FG turbo to 3582 specs just put on a 82 wheel and cover without balancing cause it sounded so rough and noisy .

But what I think he did was take a wheel from another turbo which had meat taken off the nose to suit another assembly, and put it on this car which you cant do cause the wheel is unbalanced.

As I bought the car modified, I can't be sure if he did do this, but suspect he did cause it would be one of a few "scratch my head" things he has done.

Unfortunately everyone in Townsville is either to lazy or to fcking dumb to do the job which means sending it away if I want it balanced! Mtq and some other inbred wouldn't touch it!

"We only do new turbos or new complete cores" was the response... Dumb fcks lol

I an keen to do something to the car but due to no front fence at my house it makes it hard to work on as I could get 5 minutes or 50 minutes into whatever in doing and my back is done so makes it hard to bring out all the tools and have to pack the cnts away again...

Once the house is sorted I'll be spending some time and dough to get what I want done on the F6X finished! Anyway I'm of topic so moving on...

Has anyone used the Kingugawa rear housing to replace std garrett one when it has developed multiple cracks.

If anyone has bought or used one is the quality good or poor ?

Given the price, I was tempted to grab one when I bought my billet comp wheel but decided against it... also keen to know what they are like

Hard to see their casting matching Garrett quality though
