My FG has this problem, only occurs every now and then usually after wet weather.

Snapon Solus (diagnostic tool) says it's my rear right ABS sensor I just haven't gotten around to replacing it. Would be an issue if it's a family car though, since the problem switches off ABS and traction control.

Toxic this sounds like a steering angle sensor fault to me...(assuming you have the ZF)

Definitley the foreskin program with elm device will be able to diagnose it and recalibrate your SAS. (the device will literally cost you under $20...the foreskin program is for free)

I use it to recalibrate the BF II steering angle sensor every few moths...As the DSC light comes on and car starts making grinfding noises when turning at low speed...

Does it sound like this Boost69 ?

Can that forskin program actually fix the problem? (Providing it is my SAS)

I've only played around with TORQUE but it doesn't read the ABS.

Get on to www.AliExpress.com

Do a search for ELM327.

Buy a cable for around $8. Get a cable, the Bluetooth stuff can be troublesome.

Get FORscan - www.forscan.org (it's free).

With a laptop, cable and FORScan, check for error codes.

Very, very, very, very simple.

For that price, I keep a cable in my BFIII wagon taxi and XR6T ute personal car. Plus a couple of spare ones at home.

The only possibly hiccups are: a) software driver for the cable (Google search or let Windows figure it out), and b) if you're using a Window emulator on an Apple laptop (I use Parallels) then tell it to use the USB port on the Windows side (ie I have to select from within Parallels).

I couldn't see the video but you have nothing to lose by taking PhilMeUps' advise, as the Forscan program will pick up the trouble codes at the very least, and if it is a steering angle sensor issue you will be able to recalibrate it in seconds.

The elm 327 device is cheap, literally around the $8 mark, and the Forscan program is free.

The Ford dealer I take my car to for warranty work quoted me 30minutes labour to reclibrate it, others dealers will tell you they need more time as they try and make it out like they do allot more than just reset the sensor...
