This is what I am on about.

In conclusion, the key to maximum life out of a turbocharger is proper selection of components, precision balancing of those components, and careful assembly of the turbo. An additional balancing operation performed on the completed turbo is not absolutely necessary in most cases, but it does provide a higher degree of confidence in the final product.

Turbo is doing great. No issues.

No change in tune. Too many of you guys running off to the tuner for nothing. Tuner likes it though$$$$$

But in saying that my boost tables are modded. You could have issues in the boost control area if stock tune. Don't know, just try, will just cut boost if issue.

I will be replacing my GT3576 wheel for the 6+6 82mm so for me it will require a tune but this is all down the track next year...

I replied in the other Compressor wheel thread. All good. Just do it and make sure you torque the nut properly to not alter the runout of the turbine shaft.

Also I would tend to do this on a virgin turbo only. It the turbo is not virgin, you really just don't know how the previous guy screwed it. The turbine shaft runout would need to be checked and so whilst the turbo is out of the car you may as well get the balance checked.
