The green lines being the hinterland which is windy and hilly. The black being more so just flat roads. So we could go through landsborough and head upto maleny and thruogh to kenilworth. once we get there 2 options just head back down the bruce highway to brisbane/goldy, or we could turn off half way down and head in through coolum and mooloolaba shwoing off all our sexy beast to the general public, then coming out at caloundra and heading to the bruce highway. The only issue being there is alot of traffic lights through town route so that could pose a problem, but im sure I could figure out a way to best miss as many traffic lights as possible. There are plenty of small towns to stop for food or whatever and plenty of awesome places for photos. I havnt drove this route for a little while so if anyone from up here has please comment on road surfaces and so on. from start to finish I couldnt see it being mroe than 150kms.Let us know what yas think.Mitch

There's a few sections through connondale (or however you spell it) that are single lane bitumen with dirt shoulders....some people on here are too precious for that kind of road! (don't want to name names.....but I.e. Paul)Was thinking of heading west for the next one, but trying to find new roads is a bit of a challenge. Or we could just head north on brisbane valley and go to esk and come out up top somewhere.
