Continue on turbo chat. I'd suggest looking for other things that maybe causing issues (exhaust restrictions) just to be sure its the turbo@JETURBO MPH was about right considering the hard as I <3 Bananas tyres and cool unprepped track (1.93 60ft). She just blazed at the lights if I tried to take off hard. Ill go back in summer and drop the 60ft down. Turbo rattle seems to have dissappeared today which is nice. I gotta pull the intake off and inspect it tonight I mean I'd love to justify a new turbo, shame If it has failed and it was just off the car. I spose this would leave more radial play which could lead to other issues.

The earlier gt35r turbos did have steel bearings. 17 minutes ago, MattyP said: I mean I'd love to justify a new turbo Apparently this turbo is perfect for one of our cars. Turbo purchase justified.
