Felt like there was more left in it as it flared sort of and then engaged after a little bit. the new driveline feels really solid (Gibson tailshaft and new CVs) and launched really well, feels good to see some results. Do you mean your trans flared? It had a stock rebuild aye? How was the vibration from the tailshaft at the drags?

If I shift earlier my times will drop even more. Gibson said there was some lash in the gearbox itself but apart from that nothing noticed I really need a gopro under there

It makes sense then, you just need to play with your shifting times. When I was going insane trying to find a knock in my rear end, my wife helped me by loading it up alternately in drive and reverse when it was up on stands. A gopro will certainly help you get into the trickier bits.
