So some bad news and good news

Bad news, there is still a knock somewhere in the driveline after fitting new driveshafts,

good news I spent some time at easterncreeek last night and while the incompetence of the people who run it only allowed 1 pass in I did get a PB of 11.45. Felt like there was more left in it as it flared sort of and then engaged after a little bit.

the new driveline feels really solid (Gibson tailshaft and new CVs) and launched really well, feels good to see some results.

If you can't find anything moving like it shouldn't be when it's knocking then just go over everything in the rear subframe and tighten it the fark up.

Do you mean your trans flared? It had a stock rebuild aye?

How was the vibration from the tailshaft at the drags?

Wasn't significant enough to pick up, it's only really noticeable at cruise,

the gearbox box is just a low km stock turbo zf, you go to put it into the next gear, waits a good little bit and then engages fully. If I shift earlier my times will drop even more. Gibson said there was some lash in the gearbox itself but apart from that nothing noticed

I really need a gopro under there

Oh I thought you rebuilt it, my bad. It makes sense then, you just need to play with your shifting times.

When I was going insane trying to find a knock in my rear end, my wife helped me by loading it up alternately in drive and reverse when it was up on stands. A gopro will certainly help you get into the trickier bits.

The gearbox tune is whats holding me up,

Im due for a fresh set of rears and Ill shift it how it wants and really stall it up,

Feels good to get some real world results of all the mods I've been doing,

Although I may have a new turbo soon as well
