You know I've been following this thread for a while and I thought the built 6 speed prices were pretty reasonable, even the more expensive quotes.

It wasn't that long ago you were paying that sort of money for built 3 speeds!

Sometimes you guys get a little blaze' about the times your running.

These cars are heavy!

Manual anyone?

Its horses for courses, but if want to drive your car, and not be a passenger holding the steering wheel, get a third pedal

I went auto to manual, one of the best mods ever. sure its not as quick on the quarter, but the other 6 1/2 days a week I drive it, I love it!

Speedy diffs quoted me $1250 + 250 to remove & refit cradle and $150 to fit bushes if I supply them. Not a bad price me thinks.

I have a manual that has around the 300rwkw mark, $2000 just for a clutch and the pos is slow. Compared to a auto it's sh*t. That's my opinion but with a auto even my th400 it's foot to the floor and click click hold on.

Those are they guys who quoted me. . :/

I don't expect the standard gearbox to net me consistent 10s but at the same time it was not long ago it was 1k less

I think manual is more fun but as a daily that the misses steals every now and again the auto is a far safer bet
