The sound proofing still has not gone in. :( However with this weather lately, I am tempted to take some time off work to get this done. Not hot at all and I think it would be the best time to get it installed in the boot and the doors. On a side note, I recently got my hands on this: Which I have been hunting for, for quite some time. This is an FG GS rear bump insert that I managed to get from the wreckers. I have spent some time this weekend cleaning her up and getting rid of the small scratches. I then spent an hour trying to get the old insert out of the stock bumper. What a mission that was to get the clips removed. Once I got the old diffuser out and the new one in, this is what it looks like: Car has been dropped off at MT and will be getting a few things done. The Valve springs are being upgraded. The stock exhaust and Venom cat have been removed. A new 4" dump will then be split into dual CAT for the XR8 exhaust system. This should keep the rear end looking stock(fake GS) and keep the noise down as well. The turbo is being removed as it was tired and cracked. Being replaced with a Garrett turbo. I have been contacted this morning as the rocker cover was taken off and the front cover too. The timing chain guide was fubar. I can't understand why the damn thing has broken. I stay of the limiter as I have mechanical sympathy for my motor and the oil pump gears. anyways, the timing chain tensioner guide is broke and needs to be replaced as well. I have not received pics of guide yet. Will find out sooner or later. The first round of mods saw me miss out that the original factory CAT was not returned.
