So a replacement clamp was sourced yesterday afternoon, thanks to the TUNA!!!

Second hand part used free of charge and installed by said TUNA.

Zip ties were removed before hand and discussion about spark plug gaping ensued.

0.65mm is the new trend. Will need to regap spark plugs over weekend.

6.5mm you'd need around 6,500volts of electricity to get it to jump that gap, in ideal situations haha that's an enormous gap between an electrode and spark arm on a spark plug.

0.8mm is pretty standard for a tuned falcon. 0.65 is just smaller and less chance of having issues sparking completely under full boost, but the smaller you go you risk having issues with actually fully igniting the mixture in the cylinder correctly and the subsequent flame-front propagation

Keith. I was joking with you. I know what you mean. I actually edited my previous post to have the correct gap size.

I have put new plugs in. However the gapping that those plugs had were 0.8mm

The previous spark plugs were gapped on purpose at 0.65, however when measuring them, they were at 0.61mm.

The car has shown 20psi in the Torque App. Bosch is what I was able to get at staff discount pricing.

I am just gonna take the spark plugs and gap them at 0.7mm since they are new. Thanks for all the info.

Arron thanks for assisting over the weekend with the clamp.

So the Spark plugs were gapped to 0.7mm. I couldn't bring myself to leave them gapped at 0.65mm.

Last Friday saw me doing this:

eq5xsN7.jpg

plug was removed at the bottom. Was a bitch to get the fill hole plug out as it required an Allen key. bitch of a place to get to now, especially with the custom exhaust.

Oil was dumped....

ulyfE7K.jpg

looking closely, it wasn't as bad as the first oil dumped from the diff.

The oil was at least see through. boy did it stink to all hell.

up and close, it was not black like the first oil change.

Nulon 85w-140 was used again.

Can anyone spot any issues in this picture

So while lifting and dropping the car on the jack, I had a huge bang happen and I was not sure what has happened.

I am assuming that the weight of the car on the one of the rear independent swing arms for the suspension may have damaged a bush.

I could be wrong, but I will find out tomorrow morning.
