For the life of me, I can't find what I want. I have used the search function and can not find the info.

I need to get the spark plugs replaced as the car has hit 98k on the clock.

Can someone please advise which spark plugs to get for the FG XR6T?

interesting that your link says BA mk2.

But this link says BF-FG (which would definitely be suitable for the OP, as he has an FG)

I wonder if they are actually different, because they have different part numbers on the different ebay listings...

Both are the same, the ones I posted are just better quality.

can you please explain how they can both be the "the same" and also "better quality"?

I am assuming that this is a simple job as long as I have the right tools. I read somewhere that the hardest part of this job is getting that last spark plug out of cylinder 6.

I will need to go to supercheap/repco or the Beyond tools in malaga to get a spark plug socket.

Am I looking for anything specific?

just follow Phil's helpful guide ->

The process is almost an identical process in the FG's as it is in the BA/F.

You want a plug socket, a short extension, a uni bit, and a long extension in that order. I use a 3/8th drive and this does the trick for me.

If you have no tools you can buy a cheap as balls socket set for doing spark plugs as they aren't that tight.

Wrap some electrical tape around your uni bit a few times so it will hold it's angle better and not flop around.

I have a chrome socket set at home(birthday gift), but I am pretty sure it does not have the spark plug socket.

I will keep that in mind, especially with the tape and the uni bit.

getting those spark plugs is the first thing that needs to be done.
